Profit

Profit is output value minus input cost, customs tax and optional market fees.

  • Input cost = material price multiplied by required quantity
  • Instant strategy buys inputs from sell orders and sells output to buy orders
  • Order strategy sources inputs with buy orders and lists output with sell orders

Margin

PI customs use CCP's fixed taxable values per tier, not the item's market value. Import uses half the export value.

High-security calculations include the 10% empire rate reduced by Customs Code Expertise. POCO owner tax is added separately.
